What can you do in nine hours?
Nine hours ago, the California Golden Bears extended an offer to Colt Doughty, an inside linebacker at the College of San Mateo.
Seems like that was enough time for Doughty to commit to joining the Golden Bears, thanking Benji Palu (an assistant for recruiting) and coach Tony Tuioti, among others.
I'd like to announce my commitment to Cal. Special thanks to my parents and Cal. @benjipalu @CoachTuioti92 @coachTcsm @CalRecruiting

Tuioti is technically our outside linebackers coach and Doughty graduated from Los Gatos High School in 2016 as an outside linebacker, but plays inside at the junior college level.
His Hudl footage shows versatility in his ability to rush the passer or drop back in coverage. With seniors Devante Downs and Raymond Davison finishing up their eligibility, Doughty will be working to replace these two, who have stepped up their game under coach Justin Wilcox.
