Golden Nuggets: Rivals Profiles Several Cal Football Players

Football

• Looks like Rivals is doing a series of articles about key players for Cal in 2017.
• Trace Travers wrote about Demetris Robertson.
• Nam Le wrote about Patrick Mekari and Cameron Goode.
• Both Nam and Trace made their predictions on which freshmen will play this season and who will likely redshirt.

Baseball

• Andrew Vaughn received ANOTHER All-American honor, this time from D1Baseball.com. If it seems like he has received a lot of those, you’re right! All four major baseball publications have now given him that honor. He is the first consensus Freshmen All-American in Cal baseball history. Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, Perfect Game/Rawlings and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) are the other publications that gave him the honor.All-America
