The California Golden Bears recruiting train is in full swing, as Cal moves to the halfway point of completing their 2018 class. Granite Bay outside linebacker Evan Tattersall is ready to play football in Berkeley this season, making the call for Cal earlier today.

Tattersall joins his Granite Bay teammate Will Craig in a flurry of Cal commit activity this past week.
In addition to the Power Five offers from Oregon, Colorado and Washington State, Tattersall holds offers from a ton of Ivy League programs like Columbia, Penn, Princeton and Yale. Tattersall seems like a perfect academic fit for the rigors of Cal life.
Let’s take a look at his tape from his junior highlight reel.
Tattersall is the second Cal linebacking commit of this class (joining long-time verbal Omari Harris), as the Bears seem to be focusing this weekend on big positions of need. Cal has already locked down at offensive line, and linebacker is definitely a place Cal could use some talent influx in a hurry.
Welcome to Cal Evan! Go Bears!
