The California Bears have added to their offensive line in local prospect Miles Owens. This is Cal’s first offensive line commit of the 2018 recruiting class.

Miles is listed at 6’7” and 310 lbs. He will most likely play one of the tackle spots on the line. This commit is huge, literally and figuratively, because he currently attends Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, California. Yes, that is the same school the likes of Ivan Rabb, Burl Toler, Micahel Gray, Kevin Klein, Hardy Nickerson Jr, Tarik Glenn, and Jesse Brooks all came to Cal from.
Coach Wilcox said he would recruit locally and expand from there and it already looks to be paying dividends.
