Unfortunately, Ivan Rabb missed the whole thing with ankle problems. (Article seems pretty confident in his ability to make the team though) I also didn’t find much on Tyrone Wallace or Richard Solomon.

Jaylen Brown and/or Jabari Bird (Celtics)

• How does the great performances by Bird and Brown this past month shake up the Celtics roster?
• The Celtics traded shooting guard Avery Bradley and the Daily Cal thinks Brown could be the replacement.
• Mass Live’s takeaways from the Summer League. (Only mentions Brown)
• Jabari Bird’s surprising performance gives him a shot to make the team.

Jorge Gutierrez (Trailblazers)

• Though he has some NBA experience already, it was good to see Jorge shine in Vegas. Las Vegas Review Journal has a recap of one of his games.
• Here’s a video interview with Jorge after one of Portland’s wins, it includes several highlights including a behind the back pass for an assist. Er wait... my bad. He had TWO of those!

Bears in World Play

• Sam Singer and Maccabi USA men’s basketball takes gold at Maccabiah 2017!

• Mima Mirkovic, with partner Kathryn Plummer, took Bronze at the FIVB (International Federation of Volleyball) Under-21 World Championships. They represented Team USA. It is the second year in a row she won a Bronze Medal (last year was in the Under-19 division). Mirkovic will play for both indoor and beach volleyball as a Cal Bear next season.
