The California Golden Bears obviously have high expectations inside their program. Outside their program, they are not expected to do all that much. Cal faces one of the most difficult schedules in college football. Their path to a successful season is filled with landmines and trips to very intimidating places.
Cal’s win total is set at 3.5 in an early Vegas sportsbook, the South Point Hotel and Casino. Although that isn’t necessarily the industry standard, I can’t imagine the over/under will go any higher than 4.5 in any book out there.
The 3.5 over/under (-110 for over, -110 for under) for Cal is the lowest out of any Pac-12 program.
- Arizona Wildcats: 4.5
- Arizona State Sun Devils: 5
- Colorado Buffaloes: 7.5
- Oregon Ducks: 7.5
- Oregon State Beavers: 5.5
- Stanford Cardinal: 9
- UCLA Bruins: 7
- USC Trojans: 10
- Utah Utes: 5.5
- Washington Huskies: 10
- Washington State Cougars; 7
Obviously, expectations seem pretty low for Cal at this point, so it’s hard not to imagine the Bears overachieving, right? Right?
Golden Bears, which way are you leaning on the over/under for Cal?
