CHESTER, PA — This is the instant recap of this afternoon’s Cal Rugby victory. Golden Bears wins over Life 19-0 for the 5th straight Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championships.

On Sunday, the Bears rolled through Kutztown, Indiana, and then Life en route to another national championships (5th in rugby 7s in program history, 33rd overall).

Freshman Sam Cusano was named the MVP but it was the brilliant play in the middle by the rio of 5th year seniors in Russell Webb, Anthony Salaber, and Patrick Barrientes that allowed the Golden Bears to overcome all obstacles.

Bears have now won 31 straight CRC matches and counting. Again, Talen Energy Stadium (formerly known as PPL Park) is a Bear Territory!
