Cal makes the top seven of Las Vegas defensive end Elijah Wade

Go Bears!

Elijah Wade

The California Golden Bears are in the top seven for a prized defensive end. The competition is stiff, but Cal should have a decent go here.

Las Vegas (Nev.) Arbor View defensive end Elijah Wade put together his top seven which has Cal listed! Cal makes it along with Alabama Crimson Tide, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks, Vanderbilt Commodores, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Wade is on the shortlist for being one of the top weakside defensive ends on the West Coast. He’s ranked 257th overall by 247Sports Composite, is a top five prospect in the state of Nevada, and has every major offer you could possibly want (as you can clearly see from his top seven).

Cal has two commitments already at this point from defensive ends in JH Tevis and Nick Alftin, with Atonio Mafi and Justin Kakala likely defensive tackles. Defensive line is a big priority in this class, and Wade could potentially be the biggest prize.
