Cal football recruiting gets multiple visits from Oceanside running back Chris Brown

The California Golden Bears still need a running back in this cycle. With Tre Watson and Vic Enwere graduating, the Bears have uncertain depth ready to jostle for a 2018 battle. Upperclassmen Patrick Laird and Billy McCrary III figure to duel with youngsters Derrick Clark, Zion Echols, and Biaggio Ali-Walsh for playing time.

It seems like Cal has found a potential priority at the position. Chris Brown made his second trip up to Berkeley recently.

Brown is ranked as the 23rd best running back and the 52nd best prospect from California by 247Sports Composite. Offers have been extended from nearly half the Pac-12, including Utah, Cal, UCLA, Washington State, and Oregon State, as well as other big programs like Boise State, Boston College and Iowa State.
