Bears in the Pros
- Mark Canha is back! After being sent to the minor leagues early in the season, he was called up a couple weeks ago and is now
redgolden hot! Back to back homers the last two games including a walk-off.

- Jaylen Brown has been a bright spot in the Boston Celtics’ bad outings versus the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conf. Finals.
- Marshawn Lynch led a large group of bicyclists through Oakland and Berkeley. Did you see it and/or join it?
- There are reasons to have hope that Jared Goff turns things around next season.
- And finally... not all the Pro Bears news is good... Brittany Boyd was injured on Friday and will miss the rest of the WNBA season. Best wishes on her recovery.
Baseball
- Bears had two tough losses to start the series versus No. 6 TCU. One game where they only allowed three runs but were shutout, and then a game where the Bears took a 2-0 lead but couldn’t hold it. Finally, the Bears broke through Saturday with a wild 8-3 win. It was the last home game of the season, but there’s still 3 road games left in Arizona. A lot of reasons to be optimistic for 2018.
Football
A triple threat from our friend Trace:
- A look at the Outside Linebacker situation for 2017.
- He talked with new commit Siulagisipai Fuimaono about why he committed to Cal.
- A small writeup of the Brandon McIlwain news.
Go Bears!
