Khalfani Muhammad is the 3rd Golden Bears drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, joining Davis Webb and Chad Hansen. Muhammad will join the Tennessee Titans as their 7th round pick, 241st overall. He is joining the big backfield of the Titans that has two power-backs in DeMarco Murray, and Derrick Henry.

Muhammad earned playing time as a true freshman during our 2013 campaign—including one start. Muhammad’s play over the course of his four-year career put him at third for the Cal record in all-purpose yardage with 4,574 and even spent time on the Cal Track and Field team.

In addition to his abilities at running back, Muhammad brings return skills to the table that will help him earn a spot on the roster. Cal’s single-season records for kick returns (46) and yards on kick returns (1,006) belong to Muhammad.

Congratulations to Khalfani!
