Not sure if he plays QB as well, but SF Matt Ryan is looking at potentially transferring to Cal.
The Bears have to fill out the roster and so the transfer recruiting begins. Sophomore F Matt Ryan has visited Cal yesterday. The long-range from shooter got his full release from Notre Dame this off-season. He would have to sit out next season but would eligible for 2 more years.
Transferring Notre Dame wing Matt Ryan will take an official to Cal-Berkeley tonight, his dad tells me. Already visited Vandy.

Ryan was the 23rd SF coming out of High School in 2015. Scout had him rated as the 92nd best prospect in the country and the 5th best SF in the east.
Matt Ryan is transferring after a significant drop in playing time. He averaged 14.5 minutes his freshman year to just 7.9 this past season. His sharp-shooting was still a major asset as he made 84 3-Pointers over his two years. He actually became more efficient in his 3PT shooting going from 37.4% on 123 attempts to 43.4% on 83 attempts.
We could definitely use the shooting going forward. What do you think of the possibility fans? Should we build depth for 2 years from now through transfers? Let us know in the comments below.
