1ST HALF:
The first half was a battle of defenses. The half ended as a stalemate at 30 points a piece. The Bears were kept alive through 12 2nd Chance Points on 8 offensive rebounds. The Bears on the other hand did not allow a single offensive rebound by the Utes. Cal dominated the rebounding margin 18-9, but despite that only shot 37% from the field (10-27) and 22.2% from 3 (2-9). The Utes were able to score 20 points in the paint and had a FG% of 56.5%. The bears had some balanced scoring but was led by Jabari Bird, once again. He had 8 points on 3-7 shooting with 1-2 from 3PT.

2ND HALF:
Cal got an 8PT lead at the 13 minute mark. Charlie Moore started to heat up half way through the second half as well and he was on fire indeed. He finished the game with 21 points on 8-14 shooting and 2-5 from 3. Ivan Rabb did not have a strong game on the glass, but was supported by 10 rebounds from Kingsley Okoroh. Jabari Bird carried the Bears once again netting 26 points on 7-12 shooting, 4-6 from 3 and 8-9 from the line.
