The offseason approaches. You know what that means. Another Cal coach is getting circulated as a potential candidate elsewhere.
The name of Cuonzo Martin has been mentioned in relation to multiple coaching vacancies. The Missouri Tigers appear to be the latest name on the list.
Kim Anderson is about to step down as the Missouri basketball coach. The Tigers are in the market for a new head coach. And apparently Martin is going to be one of the first names they try and go after.
Who will Missouri target? California head coach Cuonzo Martin is at/near the top of their wish list, according to multiple sources.

Missouri is one of those programs that has a lot to offer Martin, particularly the chance to coach closer to home. Martin played his high school ball in East St. Louis at Lincoln High. One of his first coaching gigs was at nearby Missouri State.
Don’t expect this to be the last job that Martin is mentioned for this offseason, as Midwest programs seem to be showing a lot of interest. There have been rumors circulating around Illinois as well.
