Cuonzo Martin is not done recruiting for the class. Cal has extended two offers for this class to try and get the Bears they need after they lose nearly half of their team this spring.
Olivier Sarr is a French big who took a trip to Berkeley this past weekend, and was extended an offer.

Sarr is currently playing at INSEP, French Institute of Sports, and showed some great flashes of defensive potential during last FIBA U17 World Championship with France last summer.
Cal also offered Edwardsville (Ill.) guard Mark Smith. Smith is a late bloomer in the class, and has gotten many late offers from the likes of DePaul, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Missouri, Northwestern and Utah.

Here’s how the Cal basketball 2017 class is looking at the moment.
- Shooting guard Juhwan Harris-Dyson, who is widely considered one of the top defenders in the West and a relentless slashing wing.
- Shooting guard Jemarl Baker, who officially signed with Cal last week on National Signing Day. Baker has become one of the most effective shooters and scorers out there, particularly from three point range.

- Forward Justice Sueing, who was recently offered and committed last week.
- Shooting guard Trevin Knell, although it’s likely he will not be playing for the Bears for at least a few more seasons as he goes on his Mormon mission.
Cal is currently losing six seniors: Wings Jabari Bird, Roger Moute a Bidias, Grant Mullins and Stephen Domingo; and point guard Sam Singer. Cal is also probably anticipating the declaration of Ivan Rabb to the NBA Draft, so that would give Cal potentially six openings for the 2017 class.
