Cal football recruiting offered Granite Bay offensive lineman Will Craig

Another local offer!

NCAA Football: Oregon at California Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Cal 2018 recruiting is looking for offensive linemen early. One potential offer could be for Granite Bay (Ca.) offensive tackle Will Craig.

Craig has early offers from a host of Pac-12 programs, including Colorado, Washington State, UCLA, Arizona and Utah. Cal was the first of these schools to extend an offer from the Pac-12, and Craig seems grateful.

More from Brandon Huffman of Scout:

Cal was a big offer for Craig.

"The Cal offer was pretty big for me because it was my first Pac-12 offer," said Craig. "Coach (Steve) Greatwood is recruiting me."

Take a look at Craig’s junior highlights.

Tackle is going to be a position of need for Cal sooner rather than later. With Cal losing Aaron Cochran to graduate transfer and Steven Moore to graduation, the Bears will likely have to rely on at least one newcomer (Kamryn Bennett or Jake Curhan) to team up with super sub Patrick Mekari as the new starters. Craig is a good local tackle who could immediately fill in the gaps for a Bears team in need of a talent infusion on the edge.
