Cal QB commit Adrian Martinez happy with the Bears

Good news!

The main priority for the California Golden Bears is now the 2018 recruiting class, and securing the two players they already have in the fold: Fresno quarterback Adrian Martinez and Antioch linebacker Omari Harris.

Martinez is the player Cal would most like to lock up, and for the moment it seems like he’ll stay a Bear. The Fresno (Ca.) Clovis West prospect seems to be quite okay with the new coaching staff and committed to Cal the school just as much as Cal the program.

Here are the junior highlights of Martinez in action.

Martinez is currently ranked by 247Sports as a four-star dual-threat quaterback, and is the 249th nationally ranked player in this class. Martinez is the 11th best dual-threat signal-caller and the 29th best prospect in the state of California. He was originally recruited by Jake Spavital, but it appears that he’s happy enough with the new coaching staff that he isn’t changing his plans.

Cal fans, thoughts on Martinez and his junior tape?
