Per Cal football, we have our NFL Combine invitees:
- Wide Receiver Chad Hansen: Hansen declared early for the NFL Draft and is perceived by many to be a mid-round pick. Hansen has been circulated as a top five wide receiver in this draft.
- Long Snapper Bradley Northnagel: Long Snapper U is back. The program that produced L. P. Ladouceur and Nick Sundberg could be on the verge of having three professional long snappers in the NFL.
- Quarterback Davis Webb. Could Cal have back-to-back first round quarterbacks? Webb had a very solid senior campaign for Cal and could move his way up on draft boards.
This means that the two graduating O-linemen, that I expected to get invites, will not be able to attend. Both Guard Chris Borrayo, and Tackle Steven Moore will not have a chance to showcase their skills at the combine, but I am sure they will have a chance at the Cal Pro-Day on March 24th.
Good Luck to our Bears!
