Cal has gotten a letter of intent from La Canada (Ca.) St. Francis safety Daniel Scott. Scott took a visit to Berkeley during the final Cal official visit weekend before National Signing Day, and he decided he wanted to be a California Golden Bear. He is Cal’s only pure safety commit from this recruiting class.

Scott is a two-star safety according to Scout and had an offer also from Fresno State. Check out Scott’s highlights below!
Scott is a likely redshirt candidate in 2017, but you can see some definite potential if he can grow and develop. Cal is luckily pretty deep in the secondary at least for next season, but in 2018 expect Scott to feature prominently for playing time.
Welcome to Cal Daniel! Go Bears!
