With less than 24 hrs to the first-ever Early Signing Day, the tea leaves are boding less-than-well for the California Golden Bears...

Once-commited QB JT Shrout announced his own decommitment from the program. Shrout is out.

Shrout was garnering some hype for apparently already wowing NFL scouts. Shrout reportedly just had an “outstanding” visit to the Tennessee Volunteers. Perhaps new–head coach—and former co–defensive coordinator with our old buddy Tosh Lupoi—has swayed Shrout to a shade of orange.

Earlier today, Cal reportedly extended an offer to another quarterback: three-star Zachary Wilson.

Wilson decommitted from the Boise State Broncos less than one week ago. The timing of the Wilson offer with Shrout’s announcement might suggest that the staff is feeling pessimistic on our chances of landing Shrout.
