Cal men’s basketball just defeated the Cal State Fullerton Titans by the score of 95-89 in overtime. The fans at Haas Pavilion witnessed a see-saw game.

1st Half:

Darius McNeill was on fire as Cal got out to a 12-0 lead. He scored 22 in the first half and 30 for the game. Kingsley Okoroh had a nice half with 8 points. Marcus Lee scored 10 in the first half and the Bears led 46-37 at the buzzer.

2nd Half:

Khalil Ahmad and Kyle Allman tormented the Bears with three-pointers and Fullerton led near the end of the second half. However, Cal would rally late to take a lead before Daniel Venzant tied the game at the end of regulation, 80-80. The highlight: a four-point play by Coleman to tie things at 74.

Overtime:

Cal took advantage of Fullerton fouls to pull away for the victory. Coleman would end with 18 points in part because of the fouling.

That was a close one, but Go Bears!
