WE PLAY TO WIN THE GAME

Herm Edwards could be on his way back to coaching and at ASU. The former Cal DB is said to be interviewing with the Sun Devils this weekend.

ASU is said to be wanting to install Herm Edwards as HC and keep all of the support coordinators around which means that former Cal WR Coach Rob Likens would stay on the staff.

Edwards last coached in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2008 and has not coached in college football since 1989 when he was the defensive backs coach at San Jose State University. Since 2009, Edwards has been on ESPN serving as a NFL analyst.

What do you think of the potential hire Cal fans? Would it be interesting to see another former Cal player coaching in the PAC-12? Let us know in the comments below.

*Also for your enjoyment. This is from the last time Herm Edwards was on campus and gave the team a pep talk prior to the 2014 season. Skip to the 9 minute mark.
