UPDATE: per Canzano of The Oregonian
Except one thing though... sources at Oregon State immediately worked to refute the report. And by immediately, I mean, I hadn't even had time to see the report from Football Scoop and my telephone was blowing up with university sources eager to shoot holes in it. The O's Danny Moran had a complete synopsis of the evening, but here's what I know.
"At this point, completely false," one OSU source told me.
"Erroneous report," another said.

Oregon State officials plan to make Cal offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin their next head coach, sources told FootballScoop Friday.
Cal plays their final regular season game tonight while Oregon State closes their season tomorrow at Oregon. Baldwin is not expected to be formally announced until Oregon State’s season is complete.
When the move becomes official, Oregon State will become the first FBS program to fill its head coaching opening in the 2017-18 cycle. The job has been on the market since Gary Andersen abruptly resigned on Oct. 9.
Yet again Wilcox will need to split time between recruiting and finding a new OC as well as a WR coach if Coach Edwards decides to join Baldwin at Oregon State.
