Cal is touchdown underdogs to UCLA

What are your thoughts on the line?

The California Golden Bears wrap up the 2017 regular season as underdogs yet again. Depending on where you look, Cal is 7 to 7.5 point underdogs to the UCLA Bruins.

Even with UCLA firing their head coach, this line makes plenty of sense. After the North Carolina game, Cal has been a dramatically worse team on the road this season than they have been at home (Big Game is not a true road game as that stadium is pretty much 40% Cal fans). Cal has been blown out by Washington, run over by Oregon, and disappointed in Colorado. And Cal has won once in the Rose Bowl in the last thousand years I believe. AND it’s a Friday night game, which has been doom for almost every Pac-12 team, ranked or unranked this season (ask Washington State).

Cal finishes the season as underdogs in 10 of their 11 FBS games. Cal has won three of those contests while also winning their fourth as a favorite against Oregon State.
