The Bears got the week of heading into the Big Game this weekend. With one win standing in the way of a possible Bowl appearance, lets take a peak and see how our remaining opponents did this weekend.
Stanford 30, Washington 22
Well, we at least know how important Bryce Love is to the Cardinal, right? Despite coming off the field in the first half for an apparent ankle injury, Love came back to add two more TD’s to his stat line, which consists of 166 yards and 3 TD’s on 30 carries. Although Washington got off to a strong start, they stagnated in the second half and only managed to put up 8 points. It’s actually better that Stanford beat Washington this week because that means the Cardinal will most likely get back into the top 25. So that means not only will we win back the axe next week, but we will be a ranked Stanford on their own field!
UCLA 44, Arizona State 37
After missing last week due to a concussion, UCLA quaterback Josh Rosen came out guns blazing. Rosen threw 381 yards, including 1 TD and 1 interception. Helping Rosen out was the Bruin’s RB, Bolu Olorunfunmi, who rushed for 79 yards and 1 TD on 15 carries. UCLA faces off against their rivals, number 11 ranked USC.
What stands out to you about these last two games Cal fans?
