1ST HALF: The Bears came out and played with more urgency and competitiveness on both ends of the court. Don Coleman found more restraint and funneled his energy in the game.He ended the half with 11 points on 4/5 shooting with 2/2 from 3. Justice Sueing continued his rise as a legitimate player for the Bears this year. Justice had 12 points on 4/4 shooting, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Darius McNeill also began to assert himself as the best passer and true point guard of the team.
2ND HALF: The Bears continued their solid play into the second half and after a slight lapse in defense, HC Wyking Jones wisely called for a TO and set the defense back up. The Bears never lost the lead despite having the lead cut down to 5 points midway through the second half. Marcus Lee had his first double-double of his Cal Career with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Don Coleman scored 30 points again but much more efficiently by shooting 8/13 from the field and 11/14 from the line.
