The California Golden Bears will have to go on national TV to try and reclaim the Axe. They’ll play the Stanford Cardinal at 5 PM Pacific, 8 PM Eastern on FOX.
Pac12 KOs for 11/18:
— Jon Wilner (@wilnerhotline) November 12, 2017
12: ASU at OSU/P12N
4 Arizona at Ore P12N
5 UCLA at USC/ ABC
5 Cal at Stanford/ FOX
7:30 Utah at UW/ESPN
Cal is looking to end their seven game losing streak to Stanford. Cal’s last win against Stanford came in 2009 in Palo Alto. In the 2010s, they are winless. Cal also needs one more win to clinch bowl eligibility, and they’ll have two chances on the road to get this done.
They can also spoil Stanford’s hopes to win the Pac-12. Stanford needs a win against Cal and Washington to beat Washington State in the Apple Cup to win the North title and rematch with USC. If Cal beats Stanford, the winner of the Apple Cup wins the North. A lot is at stake for both teams, and Cal would love to play spoiler.
It’s Big Game week everyone! Go Bears! Beat Stanford!
