The California Golden Bears will avoid the latest of late night starts after four of five weeks in Pac-12 After Dark. Cal and Arizona will kick off Saturday night in Berkeley at 5 PM Pacific on Pac-12 Networks. So this game will end at a reasonable time for all involved!

The Arizona Wildcats were hovering on the edge of the abyss on Saturday before Khalil Tate came in and stabilized the ship with one of the most spectacular college football debuts ever (327 rushing yards, 24 yards a carry, 12 completions on 13 attempts). Arizona could be far more dangerous if Cal’s defense isn’t up to the challenge.

I expect an absolutely wild football game. Arizona’s defense has some gamers but is not at all an insurmountable matchup. Cal is geared to stopping the run, so hopefully they’ll be ready to stop Tate at kickoff. Expect a Pac-12 After Dark special, even if this game is kicking off a little earlier than expected.
