After a pretty flat game from our Bears this weekend, let’s take a peek and see how our opponents held up this weekend.
Oregon State 14, Stanford 15
With Bryce Love sitting out this weekend, Oregon State had as good of a chance as ever to beat Stanford. And it looked like they were going to until the last 20 seconds of the game when JJ Arcega-Whiteside caught a 3-yard pass from Keller Chryst to give the Cardinals a 15-14 lead. Oregon State gave up two fumbles, and Darell Garretson threw an interception. Cal faces off against Oregon State next week.
UCLA 23, Washington 44
Washington came to run the ball, and run the ball they did. The Huskies had 333 rushing yards on the day, compared to UCLA’s 62. Washington’s run game was lead by Myles Gaskin who ran for 169-yards with one TD on 27 carries. On top of that, the Huskies managed to quiet Josh Rosen and hold him 93-yards and one TD on 12 of 21 before he was benched.
So Cal Fans, with only three more weeks of the season left, what are your predictions for the last three games?
