In its most discouraging performance of the season, Cal didn’t wake up to play football until it was far too late.
The California Golden Bears now face an uphill road to get to .500. Cal got off on the wrong foot, started slow, fell behind by double-digits early, and the offense slumbered too much to comeback and beat the Colorado Buffaloes.
Cal has now lost its last 11 Pac-12 road games (its last win was in Seattle in 2015). Here’s hoping the streak ends in the Big Game in Palo Alto in three weeks.
But Cal really needs to pick up their effort if they want to win their final home game next week. This was easily their worst performance as a unit all season. They need to be much better to beat Oregon State.
Grade the Cal performance against Colorado. Recap coming later today. Go Bears!
