The California Golden Bears’s next opponent will be the Arizona Wildcats and we’re basically asking Vegas to choose one kid to save and one to kill—it can’t pick a favorite.
(It’s been so long since we’ve played Arizona that when I searched for “Golden Bears Wildcats” in our image resources, the first pictures that came up were from our Northwestern games.)
Cal opened as a 1-point favorite only to become 1-point underdogs two minutes later.

Our last game against the Wildcats featured the “great” Hill Mary in 2014. This year, Arizona is 4–2, with their two losses coming by a total of 9 points. On the other hand, their wins have been pretty decisive; with the exception of their victory over Colorado, the margins in their wins have been by three scores or more.
After Arizona only won two games over FBS opponents last year, Cal fans were quick to write them off as an easy win, but Vegas thinks otherwise, especially since the rise of QB Khalil Tate and his ability to run anywhere he wants whenever he wants.
