Nikko Remigio: WR, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
Mater Dei opened league play with a 70-35 victory against Santa Margarita to improve to 6-0 this season. The second quarter of this game included a ridiculous amount of scoring as Mater Dei put up a whopping 42 points to Santa Margarita’s 21, which on any other day would’ve been a tremendous output for just one quarter. Remigio caught three passes for 30 yards and one touchdown.
JT Shrout: QB, Hart (Newhall, CA)
Coming off of consecutive victories, Hart took a 42-14 pounding from Valencia to fall to 3-3 this season. Despite the lopsided scoreline, Shrout unleashed two touchdown passes on some pretty impressive throws. The first was a go route where Shrout led his receiver perfectly. The second was on a corner route into the endzone and Shrout delivered a great strike on that one as well.
Will Craig (OL) and Evan Tattersall (LB/RB): Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA)
Granite Bay had to sit on the 35-14 loss to Folsom for an extra week as they were on a bye this past weekend.
Chigozie Anusiem: CB, Sonora (La Habra, CA)
Sonora opened league play with a 35-14 loss to Fullerton and are now 4-2 after dropping consecutive games.

Antioch took down Hertiage 35-7 to improve to 5-1 this season. Harris rushed eight times for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
Nick Alftin: DE, Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)
Coming off of their blowout win against Archbishop Riordan, Archbishop Mitty came crashing down to Earth as they endured a monstrous 64-21 beatdown against Serra, which drops them to 4-2 this season.
Atonio Mafi: G/DT, Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA)
Mafi was part of the Serra squad which demolished Alftin and Archbishop Mitty. Serra is now 4-2 this season and 3-0 in league play. Maffi dominated the line of scrimmage and opened a ton of holes for his team’s running game to take advantage of. He unleashes several pancake blocks in the highlight video below.
Miles Owens: OL, Bishop O’Dowd (Oakland, CA)
Bishop O’Dowd snapped its losing streak with a 54-0 win against Piedmont to improve to 4-2 this season. Owens dominated the opposition defensive end he was generally matched up with.
Brandon Mello: OL, Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)
The Ugly Eagles are sitting pretty as they ride what is now a four-game winning-streak after they beat Miramonte 41-21 to improve to 4-2 this season.
JH Tevis: DE, Menlo (Atherton, CA)
Menlo beat South San Francisco 48-13 to improve to 4-2 this season. Tevis had a monster game as he made ten tackles, five tackles for a loss, and three sacks.
Jasper Friis: OL, Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA)
Aquinas remains unchallenged as of yet this season as they’ve registered six fairly easy wins so far. This time, they beat Notre Dame 43-15.
Matthew Cindric: DL, Skyline (Sammamish, WA)
Skyline escaped with a win from a 31-24 triple-overtime thriller against Eastlake to extend its winning streak to three games. Skyline now holds a 4-2 record after a slow start to the season. Cindric notched four tackles and one sack.
Slater Zellers: OL/LS, Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
Notre Dame Prep’s dominant season continued with a 55-18 win against Paradise Valley, which improves Notre Dame Prep to 7-0 this season.
