Another game, another week for the California Golden Bears to try and play spoiler to their opposition.
The California Golden Bears head on the road to Seattle to face one of the teams most likely to contend for the Pac-12 title, and perhaps the national title chase that follows. And Cal is appropriately viewed as significant underdogs, as the Washington Huskies open as 26.5 point favorites.
Cal’s last trip to Seattle went well, with Jared Goff snapping a six game losing streak to UDub. Washington is a different beast now though, and can be expected to be difficult to deal with both offensively and defensively. Jake Browning is more seasoned as the quarterback, as he proved last year when he carved up the Cal defense. Surrounding Browning are a proven group of veterans that has grown together and gotten strong together.
