Cal in the NFL

Updates on all former Bears in the NFL (in alphabetical order)

Lorenzo Alexander is entering his 10th season this year with a new team, the Buffalo Bills. The linebacker is supposed to be one of the starting linebackers coming week 1.

Keenan Allen is returning from a season ending kidney injury. He was on pace to be one of the NFL’s leading receivers, and expect him to be back to top form this year.

Tyson Alualu made the Jaguars after speculation of possibly being cut. The former 10th overall pick hasn’t made the contribution the Jags were expecting throughout his career but nonetheless he has been solid.

Stephen Anderson went from a walk on at Cal, to a UDFA for the Houston Texans and has made the 53 man roster. The odds were against him but he proved everyone wrong.

C.J. Anderson is expected to be the starting running back in Denver throughout the year. He had a disappointing 2015 season but should bounce back strong.

Bryan Anger made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster as the lone punter. He should have the role all season.

Chris Conte is also on the Bucs and has a shot at the starting safety spot.

Trevor Davis, the youngster has impressed the Packers as a returner and also the potential of a down the field receiving threat. He is expected to be the WR3 or WR4 in Green Bay.

Jared Goff has had an unfortunate time adjusting the physical fast paced style of the league. The number one pick is the QB3 on the Rams depth chart and will be inactive week one.

Desean Jackson is coming off an injury filled 2015 season but the speedster will always have the breakaway speed he needs to compete in the NFL.

Marvin Jones is expected to have one of his best seasons in his career. With Calvin Johnson retiring the receiving burden falls on the hands of Golden Tate and Jones. Expect a possible 1000 yard season.

Cameron Jordan the pro bowl defensive end for the Saints is primed for another good season.

Mychal Kendricks is one of the Eagles best linebackers but with the recent signing of veteran Stephen Tulloch playing time could dwindle.

L.P. Ladoceur has the best job in the world. You snap the ball around 10 times a game run down the field and cover the punt. He gets paid millions of dollars for it too.

Daniel Lasco made the Saints 53 man roster, the ability to contribute on special teams was a big factor for Lasco.

Alex Mack the all pro center left Cleveland for Atlanta this season looking to actually have a shot at winning a playoff game.

Brandon Mebane left the super bowl contending Seahawks for more money down south in San Diego. He should be a solid contributor to the D-line.

Jordan Rigsbee was placed on Panthers IR.

Ron Rivera is looking to get back to the super bowl but this time win. However he has a shot at redemption coming up this thursday vs the Broncos.

Aaron Rodgers the greatest quarterback of all time. He will lead the NFL in every passing category there is. MVP MVP MVP

Richard Rodgers will hopefully catch everything the other Rodgers has to throw. He was a valuable asset to the Packers last year and I would expect nothing less this year.

Richard Rodgers sr. the father of Packers TE Richard Rodgers is the Panthers assistant defensive backs coach.

Mitchell Schwartz like Mack left the Browns in hope of winning actual games. He has a fantastic shot this year with the Chiefs who look primed to make a run.

Brian Schwenke is a Titans offensive lineman who is coming off a gruesome season ending leg injury. He is battling for a starting guard spot.

Nick Sundberg also has the best job in the world but for the Redskins. He is the longsnapper!

Shane Vereen is one of the running backs on the Giants roster. Expect him to be the third down back coming out of the backfield.

Justin Forsett was cut for the original 53 man roster but was brought back quickly and is expected to get touches in the crowded Raven backfield.

Bryce Treggs was signed to the Eagles practice squad.

Kyle Kragen was signed to the Broncos practice squad.

Chris Harper was signed to the Niners practice squad.

Maurice Harris was signed to the Redskins practice squad.

Darius Powe was signed to the Giants practice squad.
