A little late (this was announced earlier in the week), but Cal is going to be playing during the daytime in Berkeley next Saturday! The California Golden Bears are facing off with the Utah Utes at 3 p.m. Pacific, 6 p.m. Eastern. This will be the first non-national telecast: The game is on the Pac-12 Networks, so if you’re not in the western side of the world (or have DirecTV, or live in certain areas of Los Angeles), be on the lookout.
Utah has started the season 3-0, beating up Southern Utah, squeaking past BYU in a closely contested Holy War, and rolled past San Jose State in their first trip to the Bay this year. Cal played Utah extremely close last season in a battle of undefeated Pac-12 teams in Salt Lake City, with the Bears coming up just short in a 30-24 defeat.
Cal fans, some thoughts on the Utah game?
