Marshawn Lynch and Conan O’Brien have developed one of the best television relationships out there between a talk show host and a very important human being.
The first time Marshawn and Conan did something together was at the Super Bowl, in the now famous Clueless Gamer segment with Rob Gronkowski.
There was that time he dived into a pool full of Skittles.
Lynch told O’Brien about the origins of Beast Mode.
And he returned for another Clueless Gamer segment in last year’s Super Bowl show in the Bay Area.

This time Marshawn came on to talk about his BeastMode gear and the Fam 1st Foundation. (Warning: mild language)
This time he brought along his trusty BeastMode Cal hat! Marshawn has become our official unofficial ambassador in all things Cal. It’s exciting to get that national audience for the Golden Bears.
On a more serious note, Marshawn stood behind Colin Kaepernick and his national anthem protests, having this to say. As always, Beast Mode kept it real.
“I’d rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered. My take on it is, [expletive] has to start somewhere,” Lynch said. “If that was the starting point, I just hope people open their eyes to see there’s really a problem going on and something needs to be done for it to stop. If you’re really not racist, you won’t see what he’s doing as a threat to America, but just addressing a problem that we have.”
Other highlights including Marshawn becoming the real-life Willy Wonka.
He has a new chocolate bar too.

Also, some talk about crotch grabs, or as Marshawn called it, “Ding Ding Sauce”.
It’s a Beast Mode world!
