The California Golden Bears were led by a trio of spectacular performances on the offensive end.
Davis Webb shook off his interception woes from San Diego State to throw 27 for 40 for 396 yards and four touchdowns.
Vic Enwere put up 110 yards on 18 rushes and two touchdowns, plus another play that we SHALL NEVER SPEAK OF AGAIN.
Chad Hansen continued his incredible run to a potential Biletnikoff Trophy with 12 catches for 196 yards and two touchdowns.
Here are some individual highlights from today’s win.

Cal struck first with Davis Webb airing it out for Jordan Veasy.
A huge pressure by Devante Wilson on Shane Buchele forced Buchele to the locker room, and the Texas quarterback didn’t seem quite right the rest of the game as he would rotate in.
After Texas rolled off 17 points in a row, Cal responded with a methodical drive punctuated by a Vic Enwere touchdown to make it 17-14.
With Texas trying to open up the game, Cal’s defense made the big play, with Chibuzo Nwokocha making a huge interception on Tyrone Swoopes at midfield.
Immediately after, Vic Enwere’s plunge cut the Texas lead to 24-21.

After Texas scored, a Melquise Stovall wheel route cut the Cal lead back to 31-28.
A safety on a bad punt snap made it 33-28, but when Texas got the ball back Luke Rubenzer immediately took it away.
Chad Hansen got his first touchdown from Webb just before halftime to give Cal a 35-33 lead, and soon thereafter made fun of Horns Up.

After Texas took a 40-35 lead, Davis Webb marched the Bears right down the field and took it in himself.
Chad Hansen had quite the two point conversion to make it 43-40 Cal.
After Texas tied the game, Davis Webb had his last great drive, spotting Jordan Veasy for a huge gain to put the Bears on the edge of the red zone.
Webb eventually found Chad Hansen for the eventual game-winning touchdown!

And then Vic Enwere sealed the game! Well, technically. Let’s just admire what a great run it is and ignore where that football ends up.
