The California Golden Bears will be spending at least the first third of their season under the lights, although to be fair this time there wasn’t much of a choice. Afternoon games are just too hot for Arizona in September, so the Sun Devils and Bears have to play when the lights go down and the night air cools things off..
Cal and Arizona State is slated for a late Saturday night kick from Tempe. The game is scheduled for 7 PM Pacific and will be televised on ESPN2.

Cal fans will start their season with four straight night games: Hawaii was a day game in Australia but a late night kick in the States. San Diego State and Texas were both night games, and Cal will play at least two more night games in the month of October (Friday night vs. Oregon, Thursday night at USC).
Cal won last year’s meeting at Berkeley to close out the 2015 regular season 48-46 in dramatic comeback fashion, what can they do this time around?
