An completed four days of play with a 6-under-par total at the Olympic Golf Course, matching scores by Patrick Reed (USA), Bernd Wiesberger (Austria) and David Lingmerth (Sweden). An posted a pair of eagles on Sunday, including on the par-5 18th hole.

"I didn't get a medal this week, but I'm proud to be an Olympian and represent my country. It was a special week," An tweeted after his round.

An, who played for the Bears from 2010-11, joins both his parents as Olympians. At the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, his mother won a silver medal in women's doubles and a bronze in women's singles for China, while his father took home a bronze medal in men's doubles for South Korea.
