College football is starting to loosen their rules on the recruiting game. You might have noticed Cal football has an official recruiting account. Follow them at @TheCalLookout.
Cal has begun to send out their official offers to prospects, commits and open recruits alike as well. They are quite stylish. Heavy on text, but also heavy on promoting the values of Cal.
Here are a few examples from Cal commit quarterback Chase Garbers.

Cal prospect and offensive line recruit Jaxson Kirkland is set to decide later this month and received his official offer as well.

The NCAA has also loosened their rules on what college coaches can or cannot tweet, retweet, favorite, etc. So you’ll see that Sonny Dykes and The Cal Lookout have both retweeted the commitments of a bunch of current Cal verbals. At the very least, it’ll be easier for Cal fans to keep track of their current committed Bears.
Cal fans, your thoughts on the new recruiting letters?
