The number two overall recruit and five-star running back Najee Harris was spotted at the Opening wearing a Cal beanie:
Spoke to Najee Harris today from #TheOpening and all he had to say was... "I had to rep The Bay." #D1Bound #Cal pic.twitter.com/nzrx2tSZ7h

Harris is rather solidly committed to Alabama, but he has visited Cal a number of times and must have at least some interest in staying in the Bay Area. Harris has been committed to the Tide for over a year, and figures to be one of the next elite running backs to pass through Nick Saban's program. Nonetheless, Cal would love to sway him to stay home and join forces with a number of other talented prospects.
If Cal could somehow get Harris to stay home, he would be a key cog in an elite offense with high-end playmakers in Demetris Robertson and Melquise Stovall a couple years down the line.
There isn't much to say about Harris other than that he dominates virtually every aspect of the game and has earned his transcendent ranking. Landing a five star prospect on offense for the second year in a row would be a huge boost to recruiting and would ensure offensive success for years to come.
