Cal fans, we now know that Cal vs. Hawaii will be televised. The Sydney Cup will appear either on ESPN or ESPN2.

The Bears will take on the Warriors on Saturday, August 27th, 2016 at noon local time. Since Australia is running a day ahead of schedule, the game will be taking place in America late Friday night. Converted by time scales, the game is scheduled for a kickoff at 7 p.m. Pacific or 10 p.m. Eastern.

Here is the known TV schedule at this point.

  • Friday, August 26, Hawaii, 7 PM PT, ESPN or ESPN2
  • Saturday, September 10, at San Diego State, 7:30 PM PT, CBS Sports Network
  • Saturday, September 17, Texas, 7:30 PM PT, ESPN or ESPN2
  • Friday, October 21, Oregon, 7:30 PM PT, ESPN
  • Thursday, October 27: at USC, 7:30 PM PT, ESPN

Seven games have yet to be announced, although I'd imagine the Bears will start getting more early games at this point.
