The California Golden Bears have another late addition to their 2016 recruiting class. Gabriel Siemieniec made the decision to be a Bear post Memorial Day and will join the Bears as a preferred walk-on.

Kohl's kicking ranked Siemieniec as the 27th overall kicker in the 2016 class. Siemienic boasts a 3.5 GPA from Caledon, Ontario. Here are some highlights of Siemieniec's kicking ability.
Here's a look at the scouting report for Siemieniec.
He has showed D1 leg strength. He has powerful hips and the ball jumps off his foot. His FG range was excellent at that camp and his KO ability is outstanding. He does need to get more height on his kicks in order to move up in the rankings. Siemieniec is from Canada but hopefully that will not hurt his chances of getting noticed in the coming months.
Cal is pretty set at kicker for at least the next two years, with both Noah Beito and Matt Anderson vying to be the starter. Both are juniors and figure to be the frontrunners for the job the next two years, so Siemieniec has time to work his way into the kicking competition.
Welcome to Cal Gabriel!
