Cal Bears in the NFL: Jared Goff, Trevor Davis, Kenny Lawler & company start rookie camp

Go Bears!

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Let's take a quick look at how a few of the Golden Bears are doing in spring camp.

Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams

Goff took his first throws with the Rams last week. They seemed to go well.

Jared isn't done with his time at Cal yet either.

Trevor Davis, Green Bay Packers

Davis is already fitting in quite nicely in his time in Green Bay. Davis is relishing the opportunity with Aaron Rodgers, and is getting his chances. Davis has also signed a multi-year deal with Green Bay!

Kenny Lawler, Seattle Seahawks

Guess who's already making some impressive catches at the next level? Lawler already seems like a camp favorite.

Stephen Anderson, Houston Texans

Anderson slipped into undrafted free agent territory, but he's already making waves as a breakout wide receiver. Here are some comments from practice.

Darius Powe, New York Giants

Powe had an impressive start to minicamp. The undrafted free agent will be worth watching; the Giants are short on receivers and he could make the most of his opportunity.

"I want to just to show I'm as good as people that were drafted, and show consistency and smarts, on and off the field," Powe told NJ Advance Media in a phone interview as he wrapped up his training in California before heading to East Rutherford.
