Good news, everyone! It's another great weekend for Cal recruiting.
A week after five-star athlete Demetris Robertson rounded out the 2016 class, Jeremiah Hawkins--a three-star athlete/wide receiver--out of Buena Park has announced on Twitter that he's committed to the California Golden Bears!

Hawkins is listed as either an athlete or a wide receiver depending on the recruiting resource. Maybe Jeremiah and his nephew and current Golden Bear Jaylinn Hawkins will tag-team for some great moments as Bears!
Cal now has three commits in this class, with Hawkins joining defensive end Gabe Cherry and wide receiver Taariq Johnson for 2017. Rest assured, the Bears seem to be continuing to stack up on wideout talents, so don't expect this to be a problem in the years to come.
CGB might have a scouting analysis of Hawkins in the next few days. Mayhaps.
