Cal defensive end Kyle Kragen will get his chance in the NFL with the Denver Broncos, who signed him as an undrafted free agent. Kragen emerged into one of Cal's best pass rushers in recent memory in his final season with the Bears.
Kragen was one of five Cal players to start 13 games on defense, leading Cal with career highs of tackles for loss (8.0, -43 yards), sacks (7.0, -36 yards) and quarterback hurries (6). Kragen also had some havoc in the backfield, leading Cal with two career forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Kragen is the 8th undrafted Cal free agent in the NFL from this class, joining Darius Powe (Giants), Stefan McClure and Darius White (Colts), Stephen Anderson and Jalen Jefferson (Texans), Maurice Harris (Redskins) and Bryce Treggs (49ers).
Congrats Kyle! Go Bears!
