We appear to have confirmation that Davis Webb is transferring from Texas Tech to California. Adam Munsterteiger at Buff Stampede seems to have confirmed it.
Have been able to confirm former Texas Tech QB Davis Webb will not be transferring to #CUBuffs like he originally planned. He is Cal bound.

Webb is a graduate transfer and will have one year of eligibility with the Bears. He'll join a crowded quarterback competition that includes Chase Forrest, Zach Kline, Ross Bowers, and Max Gilliam. Obviously as a Texas Tech quarterback, he's had plenty of experience in the Air Raid and should be right on equal footing with the rest of the competition.
Webb played and started most of two seasons at Texas Tech in 2013 and 2014, completing 62% of his passes and putting up 46 touchdowns to 22 interceptions. Health plagued the last parts of his time. Webb had troubles with injury and lost his starting job, but seems to be at full health now. With the Red Raiders finding their quarterback in Patrick Mahomes, Webb seemed to find an opportunity at Cal he liked.
Cal fans, welcome Webb to Berkeley! Go Bears!
