OL Jordan Rigsbee joins Coach Rivera and the Carolina Panthers

Offensive lineman Jordan Rigsbee has signed with the Carolina Panthers! Given that the team is led by Cal alumnus Ron Rivera, there's no indication if this was a classic "Riverboat Ron" gamble or an "Analytical Ron" maneuver.

Rigsbee has earned promising reviews in Carolina so far. At Cal, Rigsbee stared all 49 possible games for his four non-redshirt years at four of five positions on the line—everything except left tackle—and was a captain as a redshirt senior.
