Alabama RB commit Najee Harris visited Cal during spring practice

What to make of it?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Cal already got one five-star from the Deep South in the past month. Why not dream about flipping a five-star who's committed to the Deep South but is right in our backyard?

Antioch running back Najee Harris took a visit to Berkeley this past month and checked out the Bears in action during spring practice.

What does it mean? Who knows? Harris has been taking trips to Cal regularly the past few seasons, Berkeley is right in his backyard, and Harris is being courted regularly by Michigan, Alabama, and other programs.

All I know is I'd rather have Harris in the SEC than roaming elsewhere in the Pac-12, so I'm quite happy where he stands right now.

I'm sure if Harris wanted to come to Cal, the coaching staff would find a way to make room. Take a look at the tape and tell me the Bears wouldn't want that dude in the backfield for three years.

Cal fans, what do you think about Harris? Let us know in the comments!
