Out of nowhere, a five star athlete from Georgia has picked the California Golden Bears. Again. Demetris Robertson is coming to Cal this fall, picking the Bears by unveiling a painting.

Robertson picked Cal over Notre Dame, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Stanford, and every other program in college football. He's the 14th best prospect on the board on the 247Composite and the number one wide receiver and the third best prospect in Georgia. So I like him a lot.
Here were many of the predictions for where Robertson would end up. None of those came to fruition.

Robertson is already signed with Cal and has his financial aid agreemeent in place. He will by all accounts be on campus this summer and be competing to play this fall at wide receiver. Let the Bear Raid go wild!
Watch, and enjoy.

"Demetris is an outstanding young man who wants to be challenged academically and believes that Cal is a great fit for him," Cal head coach Sonny Dykes said. "We're really excited about getting Demetris into the University of California and our football program. He's a great fit for us with very high academics. He wants to achieve at a high level in the classroom. The great academics at Cal and the improvement of our program along with our West Coast location attracted him. He wanted to achieve some very specific things outside of football and he felt like he could do that at Cal better than anywhere else. We're looking forward to his contributions on and off the field. He's going to be a great ambassador for our program."
